Hi guys. It’s a weird time for me listening to the podcast as I have to keep jumping back and forth in the time bubble!
Because I’m 6 months behind in new comics (that’s how long I have to wait on the DC app) I have to skip all the episodes dealing with the Darkseid Legion stuff and come back to them later.
I keep getting tangled in pink fuzz trying to keep up!
Enjoying this episode so far, love all the multiversal stuff. I’m one hour into it but there’s a couple of things I wanted to pick up on and ask.
First off, what’s the rationale for having the Post-Crisis Earth-0, up to Magic Wars, be distinct from a separate Post Crisis Earth 0 that ran from Magic Wars, through the 5 Year Gap and ending with the Mon-El punch in v4#4? I always figured that to be exactly the same continuity? it was certainly supposed to be, I thought, what with the appearance of a (take a drink) Superboy statue in Garth & Imra’s garden.
Secondly the New52 volume 7 Legion that ended with Run-Away Girl and Crispy Tasty Sun Boy? I thought that was specifically identified as taking place on the N52 version of Earth-2. Bouncing Boy, in the final issue, referred to the history (not now Michael) of Superman being killed by Steppenwolf, as shown in the N52 Earth 2 and World’s Finest series.
Looking forward to the rest of the episode. Had to write this now because I’ll probably forget after hearing about the rest of the 233 Earths. (You really have to try harder and identify another 14 Legion related Earths!)
