Very sad about the passing of Len Strazewski. His JSA series was an absolute highlight of the dark days of the early 90s.
And Gerry Conway. One of the Giants of my childhood reading.
His first run on Spider-Man is one of my all time favourites of that series. I think he got Peter Parker in a way that few other writers could. And he humanised the ditzy MJ Watson, turning her into the ONE for Peter.
I have a great fondness for his Thor run at the same time, too.
I don’t know if this has been brought up on any of your other feedback places but the entirety of the Conway/Perez pages of the 1983 JLA/Avengers book were printed in the Companion book of the Absolute edition of JLA/Avengers.
