Episode 273 – Crisis Counselling Part 6: 3 Earths, 3 Deaths
Left to their own devices, Darren and Paul once again leap into the anti-matter wave, and bring you another episode of Crisis Counselling. This time, it’s Crisis on Infinite Earths number 6, as we see the universes that would eventually merge to bring us the Post-Crisis DCU, along with the first DCU appearances of many Charlton Action Heroes, and the new Wildcat.

Episode 271 – A Princess in Peril
The Subs take a look at Superboy Starring THE Legion of Super Heroes 209, where Karate Kid works to save Princess Projectra, as Jim Shooter makes his first return to the Legion. Also, a Legion Super Fan visits the team to become Hero for a Day. In addition to this, some discussion of Justice League 3000, and the the Legion’s recent mention in Superboy.
Episode 270 – Vengeance of the Super Villains
The Subs take a look at Superboy Starring the Legion of Super Heroes 208, as the Legionnaires face the Legion of Super Villains in their most dastardly plan yet. Also, they explore the history of Jonathan Kent.
Episode 269 – Guess Who’s NOT Coming to Dinner
In this episode, the Subs bid farewell to one of the Legion’s creators. RIP Al Plastino. Then they take a look at a couple of infamous Legion stories, both from Superboy Starring The Legion of Super Heroes 207. The first concerns the whitewashing of Science Police Officer Dvron, and the second, the complete lack of knowledge of established Legion continuity that is Lightning Lad’s Day of Dread.
Episode 268 – Um, Why Don’t You Just Do Your Laundry at Headquarters?
It’s a full house at Subs HQ, as the guys take a look at Superboy and the Legion of Super Heroes 206, where Superboy is haunted by a couple of familiar faces, and Projectra goes home, and once again nearly gets killed. You’d think she’d learn!
Episode 267 – Orange is the New Back(ground of this cover)
The Subs take a look at the 100 Page Spectacular that was Superboy Starring THE Legion of Super Heroes 205. The Legionnaires are getting crazy… maybe it’s the sideburns? Lana Lang guest stars, and so all is well. Then it’s a look at Legion artist Mike Grell, followed by more Legion Lore.

With Scott on a mission in deep space, Darren, Matt and Paul take a look at Superboy and the Legion of Super Heroes 204, and find a Legionnaire nobody remembers, as well as Brainy’s latest science fair project.
Episode 265 – The Perils of Legion Dating and Hugs from Validus!
The Subs battle through technical difficulties to say goodbye to two old friends, the first, a character in the Legion, as Invisible Kid meets his demise, and the second, as Superboy and the Legion cover artist, and comic book legend Nick Cardy, passed away while this episode was being recorded. RIP Nick.
