The Subs travel to many galactics in the 31st Century as they look at Legion of Super Heroes Vol 8, Issue 11.
Murray, Paul and Al take a bit of a detour into L.O.B.O. territory and look at the first issue of Lobo’s first mini-series. And those of us that were reading it for the first time, were surprisingly entertained by it all.
The Subs take a look at the Justice League and Legion Crossover story in Justice League Adventures 28, now reprinted in the Justice League Unlimited Time After Time Collection. The League and the Legion face the threat of Kilg%re in Future Imperfect.
Murray, Paul and Al take a look at the first issue of L.E.G.I.O.N. ’91 (which is also issue #23) and it’s a spotlight on… the Durlan. That’s right. He’s been gone from the book for almost two years, but the dude gets a spotlight! And what a spotlight it is! All this, and the team says goodbye to a planetary champion (In case you didn’t know, Lyrissa was the Planetary Champion of Talok VIII).
The Subs discuss Keith Giffen’s influence on the 5 Years Later Legion.
Murray, Paul and Al take a look at L.E.G.I.O.N. ’90 #22 and this time it’s personal. The team travels to Talok VIII to deal with the Computer Tyrants of Colu and get revenge for the death of Lyrissa. All this and the fate of the Emerald Eye.
The Subs join the Legion for Beginnings, while Giffen leaves the book.

If you thought Lyrissa had a bad day before, this issue bumps it up a notch… cuz Lyrissa reveals herself to be… a folk singer.
All this and Dox reveals a soft side and the Beks (and the Eye) take the offensive against Mr. Starr in their inimitable fashion.
