Funny you accidentally compared the robot Kator with the Bruce Lee Kato. You missed the link with a different Cato – the Chinese assistant to Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther films. The kicker is, Cato’s job was to constantly leap out of hiding and attack Clouseau in order to keep Clouseau in training!
