If you look at the second to last panel in Charge of the Doomed Legionaires (LSH 217, image can be found at https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&hl=en-us&ei=9A1MW7yOOuqm_QblgbDgDQ&q=legion+superheroes+217+lorca+holy+cow&oq=legion+superheroes+217+lorca+holy+cow&gs_l=mobile-gws-wiz-serp.3…17390.19601..20812…0.0…207.1079.4j4j1……0….1………33i160.1Fg8c9gXFKM#imgrc=OS5cN2bBKaQrfM:), the explosion reads “holy cow, dig the fireworks”. I admit I didn’t notice it when I first bought that issue, it wasn’t until a subsequent letter column included some complaints that the effect trivialized Lorca’s death.
