Maybe it’s because it’s always refreshing to get a fresh angle on a concept: up till now we’ve basically only seen L.E.G.I.O.N. through the eyes of its founders and their complicated relationships. Now we have a whole new batch of characters to give us their perspectives, and that’s fun.

As it is, only a couple of these guys and gals’ back stories are ever explored, which is a shame. This series, as a whole, is just bursting with amazing and interesting characters who simply vanish from the DC universe, never to be seen or heard from again. They deserve better than hanging out in Limbo with Merryman.
